Will Dell UltraSharp 1504FP ‑ 15" LCD Monitor affect gaming?

Hello guys,
I just made a new list for my pc build and I was thinking of using the old monitor I have for my pc, although I'm not sure if it will affect my gaming performance or not. It's called a Dell UltraSharp 1504FP ‑ 15" LCD Monitor and it's very old, from like 2004. I'm afraid the monitor won't be able to catch up with the latest games nowadays, and my budget is pretty tight, so I can't get a very expensive monitor. Will the monitor affect any of my fps or resolutions of the newest games I want to play?

Yes but will it affect my gaming. I know the resolutions and I just need to know if it can run newer games.
