Will differnece between DMI and DMI2 have an impact on gaming?

Hello! I'm going to get a new computer and deciding between 2 processors, one of them has an edge in everything except that it has DMI bus while the competitor posseses DMI2. How big is difference between bus types in gaming, rendering, compressing and other tasks?

DMI is direct media interface, it handles the stuff the south bridge used to, connectors to slow external peripherals like hard drives and PCI(not PCI-e) slots. It won't make the slightest bit of difference.

What two processors are you comparing?

Thanks 4 help, I'm comparing Xeon E3 1230v3 and I5 4570.

The Xeon is effectively an i7 4770, it isn't meant to be on par with the i5 4570, they aren't even in the same price point since i'm seeing the Xeon priced 40% higher than the i5. Do you need a workstation CPU?

No, I want a gaming CPU. I know that Xeon = I7 but E3 1230v3 and I5 4570 are just models that im interested in as I7 4770 is too pricey.
