Will display port to hdmi work ?

I have a 4k tv but unfortunately it dont have display port and hdmi dont support 4k with 60hz refresh rate i need to use display port so if i get a display port to hdmi would it work ? My graphics card got display port and can manage 4k without a problem

Itll work alright but you will get 30hz after the conversion.
