Will Dual Channel Work?

I purchased Corsair Vengeance LPX 16 GB (1 x 16 GB) DDR4 3000 MHz from Amazon - (This exact one here) https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B019HVSNA6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Does this ram support dual channel? as i am ordering another 16gb stick in soon but will go for different ram if it does not.

And I said "identical" doesn't matter. There is no guarantee. It might work, it might not. You are maximizing the probabilities by buying the same part. But it is still a gamble.

Ram not in the same kit is not truly identical.
The same part number can be made up of different parts over time.

Most of the time it works, but not 100%.
Less so with ryzen.

What is your plan "B" if the new stick does not work with the old?

1. Do you really need 32gb?

2. If you do need 32gb order a 2 x 16gb kit up front.

3. If you are uncertain, order a 2 x 8gb kit for now.
Unless you are heavily multitasking, have many vm's, or are using ram optimized apps, 16gb is all you will likely need.
Deal with the upgrade issue later.
