1.5v is the max you should even think about pushing a q6600 to. your temps are already as high as i would be comfortable pushing them though. 60 degrees is pretty darn warm for a q6600

Now you kinda changed my mind, so I gave away my core 2 quad q6600 and got a q9300 which seems better which i overclocked to 3.2ghz stable at about 60c. Then I decided to try gta iv with max settings at 1680x1050 and guess wat. The fps was really low about 29-28fps? whats going on? I patched it already and it seems to make no dfference. I usually got about 40fps with my old graphics?
Might have to mess with the settings in your game. Did you get the proper drivers as well?
Ok i have reinstalled GTA IV and patched it and with everything low i get about 50fps but when maxed i get about 19fps?
Is that normal. I checked my scores in 3dmark and only got about 3700? is that normal?
