Will E8500 on DG31PR support DDR2 at 800Mhz?

Hello,

I'm buying a PC with E8500 processor on a DG31PR Motherboard, I want to know if this system it will support a DDR2 memory running at 800Mhz.

The memory supported by de motherboard can be 667 or 800mhz, but de E8500 runs at 3.16Mhz with a 9.5x multiplier, so the system clock would be 333mhz. Is there any chance for the memory to run at 800mhz?

If the BIOS will let you set the FSB to RAM divider, you should be able to run at 800.

Ok, with may last motherboard the memory speed was limited depending on the FSB, I guess technology has advanced

I'll order that configuration.
