My first time building a pc so some pieces might not work together.

Both builds will work well for gaming and all the parts are compatible, however, I can tell you now that the Intel build will be better for gaming, even with the AMD overclocked. I would go with the Intel build for your final computer choice.

However, on the intel build, the audio card you picked out is well, crap. I think the audio on the ASrock board is better. The mobo sound supports 7.1 channels, the card only supports 5.1. Use the money you save from the sound card and buy a slightly better mobo or disk drive.

Yeah, I agree with bob1033. The sound card will probably be worse. I also would not use either of those power supplies. And when buying RAM, you want to have either 2 or 4 sticks, so that you can run them in dual channel mode.

I think the Corsair PSU for the Intel build is fine, my friend has been running one in his old computer for 2.5+ years. But i recommend you buy this ram in your system with the money you save from the sound card, its more ram, and it runs in faster dual channel mode

What would you recommend for power supply in the price range? and for RAM would Corsair work?

Thanks bro
