[SOLVED] Will external Disc Readers Work with new consoles?

ps5 D.E. and xbox series S dont have disc readers. will my usb connectable blue ray player work with new consoles? anyone know?

Should be able to read external devices for versions of these consoles designed as digital content only, would hope. Both consoles will release models supporting optical Blu-ray drives though. Blu-ray 4k/8k movie discs are still hugely popular and not everyone can download 50GB+ games so discs won't go away anytime soon.
