Question Will FPS improve if I have CPU bottleneck and I increase resolution?

Hello. I have a CPU bottleneck. My CPU usage is usually around 80-90%, while my GPU is around 50%. Will increasing the resolution, and therefore putting more usage on GPU, improve FPS in games, or at least improve minimum FPS?

fps won't improve because it still using the same gpu. but the gpu usage would go up
