Will FX 8350 bottleneck 2x XFX R9 280x?

Im wondering about crossfire, and wondered if fx 8350 at stock speed will bottle neck 2 R9 280X at stock speed. Any Input?

Also, will an XFX/Seasonic 750W power supply be enough?

You are absolutely going to have to overclock or else you're going to get a nasty bottleneck, yes. You're going to need to hit probably about 4.2-4.4GHz to alleviate it fully.

The 280x has a TDP of 250w, so a pair of them is 500w, plus a tdp of "125w" for the processor that's actually more like 140w even before overclocking, plus a handful for the rest of the computer... 750w is pushing it, but a good seasonic OEM should be able to handle it.

The most CPU intensive game I've played is BF4, but as long as you enable Vsync (60fps), then your CPU should have no issues. If you don't limit the fps, then the CPU will hit 100% before the GPUs, so yes a bottle neck. Something will always hit 100% first, but it's only a bottleneck if it prevents you hitting your required fps in a game.

I would up the PSU to 850W though to be safe.

I play games such as BF4, and if i turn on vsync, it wont bottleneck the GPU, is that correct? Also, will i be able to play on ultra settings?
