Will Game Boy Advance Gameshark work with Windows 7?

My son would like to use the Gameshark with our Nintendo GBA to obtain Pokemon characters for Sapphire and Ruby games..we're currently bidding on a Gameshark with setup disk and all hardware but we are wondering if the Windows 7 Operating System will work with it..anyone know?
