If I install the games in a small SSD and later on I buy a higher capacity SSD and install Windows fresh on it, will those games think that it is a new computer and don't let me run on the newer SSD?

Solution
If your Windows setup has no issues, you can simply clone the old drive onto the new one and won't need to re-install anything. Otherwise you will need to re-install games. Steam has a way you can get the games back to working order without re-downloading them fully again.
Depends on the game,a lot of games don't care and you can even copy them to wherever you want and they will keep running(from the exe in the folder) all you loose is the shortcuts.
Some games use the windows registry for important settings and changing windows will make them stop working, you will have to re install those.

Thanks. The two games are Battlefield V and Anthem. As I am still waiting for parts to rebuild my computer, I have not downloaded them yet. I guess I just use a spare 970 Evo 1TB SSD for the time being and wait until mid April to get the 970 Evo Plus 2TB to replace it.
