Will getting a higher downloadspeed lower my ping?

I currently have 3mbps and getting 100mbps tommorow. When I play online games, I get from 500ping to 1000-1500 ping. Will getting more download speed lower my latency? Yes, I am also wired

It depends.

If your current connection can't deliver enough bandwidth and is overloaded your ping does go up.
Switching to 100mbps will eliminate this and your ping will be fine.

If.it's related to your ISP's infrastructure it won't, however a ping of 1000ms hints usually to the former not the ladder.

for about 2 weeks my ping has gone up for some reason, i would usually get 500-800. Now it just goes up to 1000ms+, but occasionally my ping will stay at 60ms~
