So atm I have an i5 3570 GTX 1650 8GB RAM. I was wondering if getting an i5 3570k and overclocking it will have a significant performance increase from my old CPU. I am thinking about this because my CPU and RAM gets maxed out 100 percent while playing COD MW. I will get more ram but was wondering if it is worth it to get a new CPU?

If you have a Z based motherboard which is capable of overclocking, and a decent cpu cooler,
then a 3570K may well gain you some added processor capability.

If you are also looking at added ram(which may not be compatible)) then consider changing all out for a new cpu/mobo/DDR4 ram.

I'm running a 3570k with a msi z68a gd55 b3 board, 32gig ram, a msi rx 580 gpu and a nzxt x52 watercooler. I'm getting 4.43ghz across all 4 cores and turbo boost of 5.4ghz.

Its smoke ryzen 3 and intel i5s and i7 all new chips in bench Mark's.
