Will getting more ram help my integrated Intel 2500 graphics to run games better?

I have Intel 2500 graphics and 2GB, 1333mhz RAM in one channel now. I can run games like Warframe with around 11 FPS and Ghost Recon Phantoms with around 10 - 25 FPS now on lowest settings. Would upgrading my RAM to dual channel, 8GB, 1600mhz would make my frames rise to at least 30 minimum?

Wow seriously? That would be a very capable gaming machine with a discrete video card. You won't know yourself with a 750 ti in that rig.

2GB RAM is getting a little on the lean side so if you have the budget, get another 2GB stick (try to get the identical make/model and you should get dual channel mode). BUT, adding a video card will make faaaaaaaar more difference than an extra stick of RAM and should be your priority.

Do you have a budget? Because you could actually put a better GPU than a 750ti if your powersupply and budget support it.

it will give a bump but really if you want to play games you need another stick of ram and a dedicated gpu. gtx 750ti would be perfect for you, as it takes its power from the motherboard with no external power requirements its great for a budget build.

the extra ram will switch the system into dual channel mode which will increase system response dramatically... it will feel smoother and more snappy.
whether that will transfer into games that use shared ram is debatable but most of the time you should see a bump of some sort.

Kind of... I'm saying that more RAM on it's own won't make any difference to gaming. Your problem is that the integrated graphics you're using at the moment is something like an order of magnitude slower than a decent gaming graphics card.

You can run a PC on 2GB of RAM. I did it with a build for a while when my budget was extremely tight a couple of years ago. I found that most games ran okay, and, once loaded, ran fine. If you have only 2GB RAM, you will find that games load much slower, and having multiple programs open at the same time or lots of browser pages will get you into the territory of "paging" - It's worth googling this if you're not familiar with it.

My suggestion:
- If your budget is extremely tight, get the 750ti and save up for extra RAM.
- If you can stretch to it, grab the 750ti and see if you can purchase an identical 2GB stick to give you 4GB in dual channel.
- If you're interested in having a decent gaming rig and are willing to put money into it, post back and we'll give you some advice on upgrading to a better video card, 8GB RAM... and you're likely to need to upgrade your PSU too. This is totally viable though because you have a very capable CPU.
