Will getting water inside the pump cause it to fail?

So after disassembling my water-cooled rig I foolishly washed the pump under tap water and water got inside to what appears to be a green PCB, but I can't really tell. The pump was obviously not on when I did this and I haven't plugged it in since. If I wait for a while for the pump to dry out will I be ok to use it again?

Water will not hurt most electronic components as long as the device isn't powered when water was applied. Use a hair drier or compressed air to gently dry the circuit board and it should be fine.
