Will GTX 1050Ti work on ASUS p8h61-m lx r2.0 motherboard ?

Seriously doubt it. There's no reason a board that recent would not recognize the GTX 1050 Ti. I have one running on a LGA 1155/i5-2400 system myself. In fact, I've had that card in older boards; LGA 775 socket, AM2+ socket. No problems. Nvidia is pretty good interfacing with old boards, and yours isn't.
