My question is if I bought a GTX 1050Ti GPU and put it in my PC having GIGABYTE H61M-S motherboard. I don't know if its legacy or UEFI BIOS. I heard from someone that some latest GPUs wont work on legacy BIOS, it only works on UEFi BIOS. Here is my motherboard specificationhttp://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-H61M-S-rev-10#sp. On official Gygabyte site there is writtern under BIOS section that it has these features :--
"1. 1 x 32 Mbit flash
2.Use of licensed AMI EFI BIOS
3.PnP 1.0a, DMI 2.0, SM BIOS 2.6, ACPI 2.0a"

i am a PC noob and unable to understand these terms and I am fearing if I buy a wrong GPU I will be in trouble. So, will GTX 1050Ti work on GIGABYTE H61M-S motherboard. If "Yes" then my PSU Zebronic 450watt PSU can handle GTX 1050Ti (both non 6 pins power connector)?

Solution
I dont think thats true , as long as you have a pci express x16 slot you can use that gtx 1050 ti , by the way what is your cpu ?

I have a Pentium Dual Core G2030 3.00 GHz processor.

http://ark.intel.com/products/74749/Intel-Pentium-Processor-G2030-3M-Cache-3_00-GHz

Does all latest motherboard has pci express x16 slot?

My processor specs says that it has PCI express x16 2.0 but my motherboard is x16 3.0 and GTX 1050Ti is also PCI x16 3.0. So, will it work?

Yep all of them have pci express slots ,(your motherboard contains 1 pcie 1.0 slot) you will lose 10% performance of using pcie 3.0 card(gtx 1050 ti) on pcie 1.0 slot but its nothing you dont have to worry about it .

All you have to worry about is your cpu , it will bottleneck(=a powerful graphics card degrades your system performance cause your cpu is not strong enough to handle your graphics card) with gtx 1050 ti on cpu-intesive game cause its an old processor .

What games do you wanna play ? what is your PSU ? Which gtx 1050 ti you wanna buy ( manufacturer and model) ?

I only want to play CS: GO and GTA V.
I have a Zebronic 450 watt PSU(no 6 pins power connector)
EVGA GTX 1050Ti SC 04G-P4-6253-KR single fan (non 6 pins power connector)

cs go will be unplayable (too much bottleneck)
gta v should be played on 30-40 fps i guess
Your psu is not the greatest , but i dont think you ll have any problem with those pc specs for the momment
