Will GTX 1060 6gb be compatible with this hardware?

Hey guys

My hardware specs are:
1. AMD FX 6300 (CPU)
2. ASUS M5A78L-M-USB3 (MOTHERBOARD)
3. 8 GB RAM
4. COOLER MASTER THUNDER 500W
5. GTX 750TI 2GB

I am planning to upgrade to GTX 1060 6gb gpu. Will it be compatible with the above motherboard and cpu?

I'm going to play games like Wolfenstein 2 The New Colossus, Assasins Creed Origins, etc. Will the old CPU lower my FPS? If so, then around how much FPS should I expect with my new gpu?

Yes your CPU will limit you in games when using the 1060. You may want to skip the video card upgrade and instead sell your Mobo/RAM/CPU and replace it with a newer system. Once that is done, upgrade the video card.

The card is compatible but the FX 6300 will definitely lower your FPS but you will probably be able to get about 35-50fps, maybe higher. But you should definitely upgrade your CPU as soon as you can, because you will loose a lot of performance because of the bottleneck.
