it seems like a problem with my CPU may be its bottleneck . when i use funmark it says 940MHZ GPU CLOCK and my GPU BASE CLOCK is 1033 also in GPU Z it shows 1033 and a boost clock of 1098 .. why funmark is showing 940mhz ? it is bottlenecked or what >??? sorry my english is weak. or when i overclock a bit my games gets stuck or an dx error popout. but performance remains the same whether is overclock or not .

The GTX 660 is in between the GTX750TI, and the GTX1050 2GB in performance. It's an entry level 1080P card. It may be running hot and throttling. That would be because Furmark is considered a "Power Virus" and stresses things beyond any useful purpose. Try Firestrike, Cinebench, 3DMark11,or the Unigine bench marks.
That card won't bottleneck that CPU or just about any other for that matter.

I was running Heaven and GPUz and to get my GTX1050Ti 4GBGPU to run full speed I needed ultra settings. The Q9550S was at 80% on core 1, and about 25% on the others. Average CPU use was 45%. So if a faster GPU, on a slower CPU can run OK you shouldn't have any issues. I think Furmark is the problem.

I don't know how this test works out the bottleneck, as it changes for every application. Even if there is a 10% bottleneck, it's not an issue that should be of much concern, you shouldn't go changing your CPU just because it says to.

There is always going the be a component that's the limiting factor, you can call it a bottleneck if you want, but every PC will have something that limits it's performance. This is normal and nothing to be concerned about.

The term bottleneck is way overused. A true CPU bottleneck will result in freezes in the game because the GPU has to wait for data from the CPU. Either you have this or you don't have a "bottleneck". 10% bottleneck is BS. Will it run faster with a better CPU? Sure. That GPU will not "outrun" that CPU.
I had an actual bottleneck in my Optiplex 380/GTX1050Ti 4GB but it wasn't CPU, or GPU. It was from running a 4GB GPU with 8GB RAM. If I didn't watch my background processes it ran out of memory and had freezes in some memory intensive benchmarks. Most people would have blamed the Core2Quad.
