Will gtx 900 series price drop in the near future?

Hello everyone. I wanted to know if the 900 series by nvidia are likely to drop in price.

the 980ti has already caused the gtx980 to drop

seeing the first gtx980 under £400 now

AMD new top cards expected on the 16th i think

performance of those may impact the nvidia cards depending how good they are

Here's the way I look at it...cards will always drop in price, and something new will always come out. If you can get a good deal, on a good card, do it. Otherwise, why not wait for the 980Ti to drop in price...or the card after that?

Just saying, don't always wait for a card to drop in price because when it does, a new card just released with even more power. Guess what, it will happen to the GTX 980Ti this winter as well I bet. Christmas rolls around and a new card comes out, why not wait until then? Or after that wait until Q2 of 2016?

I do not expect a higher price drop than 5-7% for GTX 900 Series GPU's in the next two months. Even my guess is probably an ambitious thought and prices might remain the exact same for another while.

the 980 has definitely dropped in the last week here in the uk

but the 970 is actually £40 more than when i bought mine

really needs AMD to have an answer to these cards to knock the prices down

except the top 2 cards far as the rumours have been going

those are the important ones to challenge gtx970 etc

Thanks, glad I didn't wait and went with the GTX 970. It's clear even the AMD R9 390X is just sped up to try and compete with Nvidia.
