Will GtX 970 work with this?

Im plaining on upgrading my graphics card to a GTX 970 and was wondering if it would fit in my case. the case is a Carbide Series® 300R Compact PC Gaming Case. Specs - intel core i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30 GHz , 8GB ram (7.89 usable) 64 bit operating system x64-based processor. Any help would be appreciated

it will work just fine, and will be a formidable PC enjoy the upgrade!

If the GPU is less than 45cm long (I've never seen one that is more than 30cm) then it will fit in your case and work well with that CPU.
