Yes the FX6300 will hold back either of those cards at least a little bit. That doesn't mean you won't get good performance still though.

yes there will be a bottleneck as a 970 is about as fast as that cpu can take without a large bottleneck at stock speed but if you can oc it to 4.5ghz and get a 1060 and you will be fine
