I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the video card forum. I have an older (2016-ish) 27 inch monitor with 1920 x 1080 display and around 70 refresh rate. I am buying another monitor with the same native resolution, except in "full HD" mode and with a much higher refresh rate.

Is this going to cause problems? Is my video card going to have issues sending out two differing signals? The new monitor is going to be the primary display, and what I use for gaming. The old one is just going to be a secondary display for additional space when working.

I'm just wondering if I should just spring for a second copy of the new monitor I am getting.

No connection/operation problems.

One issue may be dragging a window from one to another.
As you cross the boundary, they will not line up.
You can mitigate this somewhat by adjusting the resolution, scale, and location in display settings.
You mean, if I have a window half on one screen and half on the other? If so, that's not really an issue. If not, than my dumb self doesn't understand lol.
