Will hp all in one print if cartridge is low

Hello,It seems one cartridge is empty on my HP all in one B110. Ive set to grayscale and black only print (which is not low). Print request reach print queue and says printing but does not recognise number of pages and remains in printing status without actually printing. Is this because the other print cartridge is empty?

Probably. Some HP printers will not even print in black-only when the color cartridge needs to be replaced.

Veteran is right. Maybe your HP printer is one of HP's printer that have a condition like that. So replacing a new cartridge will be a good way to do.
