Will Hyper 212 EVO fit my motherboard

As the title says, I have got GIGABYTE GA-970A-D3P AM3+ I'm planning to get fx 8320 and hyper 212 evo cooler, will it be alright? I meant will it take less space on motherboard and don't come on RAM slots?

It should fit just fine, just make sure that it fits in your case. There is plenty of space on the motherboard, but the dimensions of the cooler may not fit in your case depending on how small the case is.

Your case needs to be at least 7.5 inches wide for the EVO, as far as DRAM, the fan height is adjustable so DRAM shouldn't be a problem - I've got Tridents on a couple of rigs under a EVO
