Will I be able to overclock my rig?

Hey, I want to overclock my rig, but I'm not sure whether my computer is up to it.

Specs:
AMD FX-8320 @ 3.5ghz [looking to bump it up to 4.0ghz.]
AMD RX 470 4GB
16GB DDR3

My PSU is an EVGA 500w 80+ certified unit.

My motherboard is a Gigabyte 990FX-UD3 R5 [rev. 1]

Any help or tips are appreciated. Thank you!

As long as you're conservative and careful, you can try. But if you run into issues, don't push it; heat and power used can go up pretty quickly and the power supply is rather "meh" at best.

That usually depends on the motherboard and it's bios. Be aware that you'll have to tamper with some very sensitive settings which could result in system instabilities or potential damage.

Yes, you can.

AMD FX-8320 @ 3.5ghz
Don't use any CPU OC software. Do it from BIOS and watch some videos if you're not familiar with it.
Also, keep the temps below 61.1°C (AMD specified) or you will throttle heavily. Use AMD overdrive to monitor temps. Also a reference:

AMD RX 470 4GB
You can OC this too. Use MSI afterburner + Unigine heaven benchmark. You can use this as reference:

Your system uses around 120(GPU)+220(CPU)+x=400W. Try not to overload the PSU with too much CPU OC.
