Will i be able to play games?

My resolution is 1280x768
Pentium g860 3ghz sandy bridge
msi hd 7770 oc
8gb ram
320 hdd

Will i be able to play skyrim at that resolution? I would love to play bf3 mp but i know it hates dual core processors (the only advantage of a cheap amd quad core).

I wanna play Skyrim, Minecraft, Left 4 Dead 2, Diablo 3.

I would also like to play Planet side 2 and bf3 mp but i don't think my cpu would run it.

BTW i already ordered the parts... should i upgrade my cpu soon? i know the 7770 sucks too, but im pretty confident at 720p with it.

The games you mentioned, Minecraft & Left 4 Dead 2, could be ran smoothly, but I can not make you sure about the other games you mentioned, especially Battlefield 3.

I know, but from what ive seen the fps difference between an i3 and the g860 is very minimal (games that are heavily threaded only use 2 cores). Skyrim seems to have good benchmarks with the 7770 and same with the g860.... thats why im confident at 720p. I'm not really that smart though either... so idk.
