Will I be able to power my 84 TDP i5-4460 and with/without GTX 750 with a PicoPSU?

Hello, I have an i5-4460 (84 TDP) and I'm planning to buy the PicoPSU 160XT. But i noticed on their spec list that this psu only supports 65 and 35 TDP proccesors. Will i be fine or will i have a problem powering my CPU? I also have a GTX 750 which i want to put on it too. Will i be fine with that too or not? Thanks a lot! BTW I'm planning to build a hackintosh :)

Solution
Remember, RAM etc all need power - usually negligible, but on a Pico 160W unit..... every little bit matters.

I don't see why there should be any limitations to CPU TDP - Pico units are entirely 12V (13A, 16V peak), so should be capable.

84W TDP + 55-75W GPU takes you really close to the max consistent 160W.
+ ~10W RAM + probably another 10-25W or so for an HDD...... you're really, really pushing it.

I don't see this being viable.

So you don't really recommend it? Is there any possibe way i caould mmanage to do it? Maybe undervolting the CPU? Cause PicoPSU 160XT can get up to ~200W. BTW Thanks for your time and effort.

"Peak" 200W, yes. Try to do that even close to that consistently, and you'll be disappointed, fast.

Undervolting, minimal load etc should all get you closer to it 'working'.

I'm not saying it 'won't' work, just that it's not really viable. If you put a substantial load on the GPU (for example), you're going to be in the 160-200W range (potentially)........ and that's not going to be stable for long.

OK cool. What nano PSU would you recommend? Hdplex maybe? Even though it's really expensive :/
