[SOLVED] Will I be able to run a 2560 x 1440p monitor

Specs:

I5-9600k,
Nvidia 1060 6GB,
16GB RAM

and What quality preset would i probably be able to run on most new games.

The GTX 1060 isn't really meant for 1440p gaming. You should be looking at the GTX1080 or higher. Also, your system would need the 1080 in there in order to balance out the system's specs(or so it would seem from the three lines as your specs). Make and model of your PSU?
