Ok so i want to make a LAN Gaming room with me and some friend. Our games are mostly online and we need an internet connection. Is there a way i can connect my router to an unmanaged network switch and share the connection between us.

If you have an actual router, yes. This is precisely what a switch will do.

How many LAN ports are on the back of your router?

My router is a trendnet router with 1DSL port and 4Ethernet ports

Then either connect your systems to the 4 ports on the router, or connect a switch to a port on the router, and then your systems to the switch.
Either way works.
