Will I be able to use an i5-8400 CPU with a Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H MoBo?

I'm looking to get an i5-8400, and I will need a new motherboard along with it, my friend recommended the Gigabyte GA-H110M-S2H. I realise the sockets are compatible (LGA 1151) but will the motherboard have the correct chipset support?

No, 8400 currently only works with Z370 motherboards.

Nope, coffeelake is incompatible with 100 and 200 Series mainboards.
You'll need to buy a Z370-chipsetmainboard. A cheap one will do the job 😛

Nope. Get a z370 or wait till next year till the h and b 300 series chipset arrive.
