Currently I have a radeon Gigabyte r9 270 alongside an amd fx-6350 6 core and 8 gigs of ram. I am thinking of upgrading to something from a 280 to a 290. So, I was wondering two things, one, If I only upgrade the gpu, will I be bottlenecked by the cpu?
The reason I am upgrading is because I am going to order the Oculus rift DK2 or maybe the consumer release on release and I was wondering what the best R9 gpu (Less than 300) would be for this task (Sapphire VS Gigabyte) (280, 280x, 290 or maybe even the 290x) (the cheaper the better)
