Hello,
I bought a new swift 3 laptop. I was experimenting with ThrottleStop and put frequency of all cores to 39. But in ThrottleStop one core should have been 39,38,37 and 37. I did't see that and put all cores to 39. And ran a benchmark.

My temperatures touched 92 degrees. I hope I didn't damage the cpu. Apart from that, even at -125mv, my temperatures hit 91 degrees. only when i limit the frequency to 32, I get a drop in temperatures. Please advise. Thank you

Solution
Simple answer, don't mess with laptops with overclocking them, that goes double for cheaper standard use slim systems not made for gaming and handling heat. One of the best ways to break something is to take something that works and try to "improve" it.
The maximum multiplier for your CPU is locked by Intel. Setting all of the turbo ratio limits to 39 will be ignored by the CPU. This did not change anything so this did not damage anything.

Intel considers any CPU temperature under 100°C to be a "safe operating temperature". A peak CPU temperature of 92°C is perfectly safe. Modern laptops that use Intel CPUs run hot. There is no need to slow your CPU down to prevent it from getting hot. Let your CPU run at its rated speed. If it gets too hot, it will slow down. No need to interfere with this safety mechanism.
