I want to purchase a 1080p monitor but I was wiling to check that how the performance would be at 1080p so I connected my PC to my hdtv(which is of 720p too) through hdmi and followed these steps.
1.I enabled vsr in amd control panel and selected to stretch the display and not changed the resolution of windows as it was not completely fit to the hdtv and I only changed the resolution of the game at 1080p but it was still blurry did I went wrong?(btw the resolution shown above the vsr setting in control panel was also 1080p)?
2. Although after playing at 720p and 1080p(through VSR) I was getting exact same fps. I was playing project cars on high settings and getting around 70fps?
By the way my system is i3-4160,amd r9 270x(2gb),8gb ram,500gb hard drive and antec vp550p power supply
Please provide me solutions to these two questions in this description
