Will I get the benefits of a wired connection over wireless using a ethernet over power connection?

I was just wondering if my net connection will act like it's directly plugged into the router or should I just stick with wireless.

I use ethernet over power and can use my full internet connection 15MB/s and no lagg either! Worth every penny! Your hate wireless after!

do they have to be on the same circuit? as in the same switch in the power box? or will it work over any?

But be aware that much depends on the design, quality, and condition of your home electrical circuits.

No harm in giving it a try. Maybe in several places to test. Buy more if it all works out.

Ive got 10 year old wiring, slight difference in speed on different circuit but not enough to worry about. But for the cost of decent adaptors its a risk I would take multiple times. I've advised many friends to swap and they have never had issues. There kids finally stopped asking to upgrade internet as games dropping out other wifi before.

That will work fine! Extends wifi too

this my be an obvious answer but i thought i'd double check. Will it work if i plug it into a power board? or does it have to be directly plugged into the socket?

Ideally in a main socket, any powerboards with surge protection with have a massive drop in performance if it connects at all.
