Will I have to buy windows 8 again if I upgrade my mobo?

I just upgraded my mobo about 2 months ago, and I've decided to upgrade it again. But if I do upgrade it, will I have to purchase windows again? If so, I'll just install Steam OS.

if you bought the OEM version of windows 8, yes it will tell you to buy it again. that said a simple phonecall to Microsoft will probably resolve the issue without you needing to buy it again. just explain you replaced your motherboard, not your whole computer. they usually will work with people on that issue.
