Will I have to re-install windows if I update bios?

I have an Asus Maximus VII Hero. I just set everything up yesterday and I checked the Asus support site for drivers. I noticed that there is a new update for the bios. If I were to flash the bios with this bios, will the revert everything to stock and/ or will I have to re-install Windows?

You won't have to reinstall Win, but will have to redo any changes you've made in the BIOS, all will go back to defaults, So if you've OCed already or set up a RAID, that type thing, will have to re set it up in the BIOS

You won't have to reinstall anything, just the BIOS settings might reset to optimised defaults.

ok, thanks. Now what about boot options? Will my boot priorities be messed up?

If you mean boot device order, then yes, that's in BIOS and will have to be reset. If you mean multi-OS boot order in boot manager, then no.
