Hello peeps,

I am wondering if I have to swap my 520w PSU when I upgrade my GPU.

Currently I am running a Mini ITX game build with:
i5 4460
1 7200 HDD
1 SSD
16GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 770 Lightning
(Phanteks Evolv case)
520W Seasonic PSU

I want to swap the 770 for either a gtx 980 or 980 TI. The calculators online tell me 520 will be enough but I am not so sure. Also; Will I still be able to swap the i5 out for an i7 when I keep the 520 and 980(ti)?

Solution
For a 980 it should be fine, for a 980ti its a little low but still should be good, its a Seasonic so that helps A LOT as its real good quality. Processor should not make a difference, unless you decide to overclock, then I would consider a bit larger PSU.
