Question Will i keep the same frequency after adding 2 more sticks?

Hello, these are my specs:
CPU: Ryzen 3 2200g
Mobo: MSI B450M PRO-VDH
GPU: RX 570
RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB DDR4 3000MHz CL16 Dual Channel

Current DIMMS are running at 2933mhz with A-XMP. I'd like to upgrade to 16GB. What I want to know is if I can add another 2 sticks of 4gb ram and be able to keep 2933mhz. I will buy the same exact kit as the one I have now.

Perhaps a single module of 8GB?

Will there be a problem?

You have a 50 50 chance that they will a. work together, and b. will work at the same frequency. It is always best to sell your memory on board and buy all memory together as a set.

Worst case the system won't even boot, best case is will work as you want or it could be anything inbetween. Mixing RAM is always a gamble even if using the same make and model, it is sold in matched kits for a reason.
