[SOLVED] Will I lose any performance if I do this? And if so, how much?

I have a ryzen 7 3700x and 2x8 GB of corsair ram at 3000 mhz.
I also have 1 stick of some weird brand called "goodram" which is 16 GB and runs at 2400 mhz.
Currently I only have the 2 corsair sticks running in dual channel, but I was wondering if I would lose out on alot of performance if I were to add that 1 stick of 16 GB.
Also, if I were to do this, where would be the best places to put the ram sticks?
I already tried this configuration:
A1: empty
A2: corsair stick
B1: corsair stick
B2: goodram stick
And the PC boots into windows successfully but the ram downclocks itself to 2133 mhz when I do that. Would it be better to keep the corsair sticks in the dual channel slots and add the 16 gb stick in slot A1 or B1?
Thanks for any help.

only use the 16GB if the app you use required more ram
Currently I experience quite high ram usage (I like to host a minecraft server from my pc to play with friends while also playing the game itself) but it's fine so far, but I was just wondering if it would be okay to do if I ever need more ram in the future (instead of buying a brand new ram kit)
