Will i lose any performance if I use the radeon r9 280x with pci 3.0 on a 2.0 slot, how much of a difference would the 3.0 slo

I am building a pc and i noticed that amd mobos do not support pcie 3.0, will that make a difference in my gaming experience using the Radeon r9 280x GPU, if so how much?

1 FPS. Don't bother. Current GPUs can't saturate the PCIe 2.0 bandwith fully.
