Will I lose everything on my HDD?

Hi guys,
So I reinstalled Windows 7 on my SSD and my HDD is not showing in My Computer.
Looking at Disk Management, the hard drive is listed as Disk 0 & has 1.5TB unallocated.
Now I know I right click and select New Simple Volume, but I'm worried about losing the data I have on the drive.
So basically I'm asking will this erase everything I have on the hard drive?

Did you install Windows to the SSD with the data cable unplugged ?

Does disk management show the entire disk and being unallocated ?

I am unsure but I think it was plugged in (I assume this was now a mistake?)
Disk management shows the whole disk as unallocated.
Is a dock like that guaranteed to show in Computer?

I use the docks all the time to check HDs on another computer .... it looks like windows install wiped the drive clean
