Will I need a cpu cooler if i won't be OCing but will be playing heavy games?

Unless you enjoy the sound of your pc taking off while gaming just get an aftermarket cooler. You need A cooler for any load, but the stock cooler will be fine (for intel anyway). If you are going amd i would just buy a cooler because it will throttle under heavy load with the stock cooler
