Will i need a new monitor.

I have just got a new pc and gpu.
my GPU is a gigabyte radeon r9 270x.

my current monitor only has vga, i think the resolution is lower.
and can you tell me what the difference between Digital max resolution, Analog max resolution

What will a new stable monitor cost me?

A cheap solution would be to buy a VGA to DVI-I adapter. Good gaming monitors range from $150 to $350. I would check Tigerdirect or Newegg for monitors.

I recommend a monitor with a DVI, DVI-D or HDMI port. Because you have a quality GPU, then this monitors that have this ports will enhance the quality of the image than a VGA (it is pretty old and not as good as the 3 ports I listed).

You would need to consider a monitor with either built in speakers on not. HDMI will suit built in speakers as it transmits audio. Whereas DVI and DVI-D does not.
