Good morning/afternoon all,

I started preloading BF4 last night after saying I wouldn't buy it...then I got concerned about my set up after reading the recommendations of a 3gb gpu. Here's what I'm running. I'm concerned about the gpu and the display as the display seemed to sway my settings on a couple current games.

27" 2560x1440 ips display
900w psu
AS Rock Z77 extreme4 mb
i5 3750 3.4 ghz quad core cpu
16gb ddr3 1600 ram
Nvidia 650ti boost 2gb gpu

WIll I be ok with the 650ti boost?
would a second card and do SLI for $150 be a solid option?
or is it really not worth it and and I'd be better to sell my current card and go bigger?

Thanks for any help/suggestions.

Solution
You'd need something like a 7970 or 280x to play it properly at that resolution

Seems that SLI would be your cheapest option, and SLI 650 Ti Boosts should give you better than 590 or 7970 GHz performance (I'd say close to a 770)

Check these benchmarks on 650 Ti Boost SLI in games, should give you a good idea

Thanks for the link. It does seem like I'd get a lot out of adding the second card. And looking at the cards you listed (I'm assuming 680x?) it would be less than half the price.

I just wonder if even at half the price if it wouldn't be worth it for me to scrap the current 650ti boost and go big.

[quotemsg=11808740,0,1427904]Unless you're willing to take the leap to a 780 or a 290x, it wouldn't really be too worth it[/quotemsg]

Thanks, while I would love to do that, $650+ is just out of my budget right now.
