Will I need to buy a new cable for my gtx 1070

I currently own a gtx 970 exoc black edition and have ordered gtx 1070 armor 8g msi card. From what I understand the 970 i have has a 6 pin and an 8 pin, what does the 1070 have and will i have to buy a separate cable or will the required cable come included with the 1070?

(This is the power cable from the psu to the gpu I'm talking about not any other cable like hdmi)

The MSI armor GTX 1070 uses a single 8 pin, so you should be fine.
