So I'm gonna be upgrading my pc from my old rig:

Gpu: Geforce GTX 650
CPU: AMD FX-6300
Motherboard: 970A-G46
Memory: 8 GB (DDR3)

To my new one:

And I was wondering if I'll need to reinstall windows. I got the retail version of Windows 8 when I first built it but later got the free upgrade to windows 10.

technically windows is install on a HDD/SSD so you could do without, that being said for driver compatibility and hassle free migration i would reinstall a fresh version of windows.
that way you neglect the risk of driver messing with each other and such

You will need a clean install of windows 10 , because you are switching platforms.
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Register your current setup with a Microsoft Account , and then after you install 10 on the new setup , you can activate that new setup with the Microsoft account , skip the key entry , then when windows 10 is installed activate it from within windows with your Microsoft account.
