Will I need to reinstall Windows if I'm upgrading my Ryzen CPU?

I'm looking to upgrade to a Ryzen 5/7 from a 2200G. Will I have to reinstall Windows?

If you keep the same motherboard then no reinstallation needed. I’d advise resetting CMOS.

As above, you would only need to reinstall Windows if you were changing motherboards or if you were having some problems with the system.

I would update the BIOS to the latest version prior to installing the second generation Ryzen CPU. There was a big problem with the second generation Ryzen processors earlier in the year because the early motherboards shipped with a BIOS that was incompatible with the new processors.

If the OP is interested, here is a web page on that problem. It led to a lot of headaches for AMD and the motherboard manufacturers because installing the processor essentially bricked the motherboard. It required a "boot kit" to fix the motherboard.
