Will I need to update my bios?

I have a Dell 07PR60 mother board. Version 1.3.7 - AMD AGESA SummitPI - AM4 1.0.0.7. I am switching processors. I have an Ryzen 5 1400 upgrading to a Ryzen 5 2600 and I was wondering if I would need to update my bios. Date on the bios is 03/14/2018. Please help.

There is only one BIOS listed for that motherboard on Dell's website. The 1.3.7 you have. If is from March 2018.

These threads on the Dell support site says that NO Ryzen 2 will work --

Hello, I was wondering if the BIOS for this desktop allows you to upgrade to Ryzen 2? Mine has the A10-9700 so I want the performance boost.
